Hey Roger & Team,

Just wondering what the timescale is for the next release? There were some key webrtc fixes merged into Chromium dev branch about two days after the 0.5.1 release that would be very beneficial for us :-)

Cheers!

I planned to release 0.5.2 in a short time period after 0.5.1, which
will also be based on Chrome 27. However, there are several important
OSX bugs (at least #476, #620, #668, #623) are fixed in Chrome 28.

So I tend to fix those bugs first by rebasing to Chrome 28 and delay the
promised feature (print preview) in 0.5.2 a little bit. Rebasing to
another Chrome version would bump the major version to 0.6.0. So if we
go this way there will be 0.6.0 first and no 0.5.2.

Regards

Hey Roger,

That sounds great - do you have any sort of timeline?

Chrome 27 hit the main branch earlier today which means for the first time since I started using node-webkit the project has dropped behind Chrome Stable :-)

All the best!

Hi Tom,

There is no timeline but currently the rebased code in branch for Chrome 28 is working on Linux. It will be released soon after bug fixing and testing on Windows and Mac as well.
