Is it possible (or plannend) to use the official chrome.* API (http://developer.chrome.com/trunk/apps/api_index.html)? For example for filesystem dialogs.
Is it right, that this depends on whether you use CEF3 or the Content API?

Thanks!

No, it's not possible in both CEF3 and Content API, and I have no plan
to support it in node-webkit. If you really want it you can switch to
Chrome Package App.

As for filesystem dialogs, node-webkit does support it:

Does "Chrome Package App" work as exe that created with node-webkit?
Does it works on PC without installed Chrome?

No, Chrome Packaged App requires Chrome being installed and has quite
a lot of limitations.
