Hi guys,
We published our game which is powered by node-webkit a few days ago and then published a blog post about our experience with piracy and such:
What happens when pirates play a game development simulator and then go bankrupt because of piracy:
This blog post has gone viral! You might have seen it in the news.
We really did not expect this to take off like it has and we are so lucky to see a massive show of support. People have bought our game and are trying to run them on all sorts of different platform configurations.
Unfortunately I didn't do a very good job in packaging the game up and some users seem to be unable to play, especially those on linux or those with Mac Retina displays.
It's hard to get an overview of the issues at the moment but I tried to compile them on our forum:
Anyway, I have two reasons to write this.
First, I would like to give back to node-webkit and support this awesome project. Is there some way I can donate to the team and further development of it? I definitely plan to do a follow-up blog post and will highlight our use of it.
Second, is there some form of paid premium support I could get to help me deal with these issues and prepare a package that would run better? Or is there someone who could help us in this.
We are just two guys and are absolutely overwhelmed with emails and I don't think it will ease up any time soon.
Thanks for your time!
Patrick
