Flash Installation

I'm trying to use two flash plugins for videos and loading audio.  Flash video seems to load and play maybe once or twice but will stop playing after wards. I'm also trying to use sm2(http://www.schillmania.com/projects/soundmanager2/)  for audio and that doesn't seem to detect flash at all. I know I can create a plugins folder for 3rd party plugins but what files would I put in for flash to be detected?
