chrome.serial has been entirely removed since version 0.110, I assume because of upstream Chromium slowly removing chrome apps API...

Ideally you have a way to add that in future version, since it is such a nice API. Alternatively could you please fix ASAP the web serial API which is still broken https://github.com/nwjs/nw.js/issues/7215 ?
