Hi Coaches!

We hope you've had a productive fall season that's coming to a happy conclusion. Big thanks to all who organized, hosted, and volunteered at NWISA regattas! 

Since there were objections to meeting next Wednesday the 5th (and this Saturday the 1st), we're pushing out the fall district meeting to Wednesday, November 19, 7-8:30 PM. In the meantime, the board will continue to work on the spring and fall schedules. We know weeknights can be tiring, but most coaches and NWISA board members are typically available then, and we'll try hard to have all business covered by 8:30. Enjoy your weekends when you're not coaching! 😊 One week ahead of the district meeting, we'll email you the agenda with a meeting link and proposals for the officer slate and spring schedule; minutes will be sent soon afterward. 

Other NWISA meeting dates to plan on: 

• January 7 (Wednesday) @7PM — NWISA sailor registration and homeschool/virtual/ALE info meeting ahead of the ISSA eligibility committee meeting
• February 11 (Wednesday) @7PM — preseason spring meeting (to discuss each spring event, any questions, and vote on fall schedule)

• November 21 (Friday) — Registration for the Coach's Clinic at Seattle YC/Portage Bay is open for $25 at https://theclubspot.com/register/camp/Z8OLis546l/class
  The late fee of $10 goes into effect Tuesday, November 18th.
  It will be a tuning clinic and a support conversation on how to stay coaches longer.
• February 21 (all Saturday) — Youth Sailing Leadership Symposium at CYC for coaches and program directors
• February 22 (Sunday) Get on Board! conference at CYC for board members and volunteers
