Friends:

I thought you might want to know about a press conference the Mayor is holding next Tuesday. See blo if you're interested.... Love to have you there to support the Cleveland Plan to reform education.

Thanks! John Z
We have just six short weeks to create a minor miracle. Educating our children has become the #1 priority in Cleveland. On Tuesday, Mayor Frank Jackson, CEO Eric Gordon and leaders from across our community are announcing the Right School Right Now Campaign. The goal is to encourage parents of at least 2,000 Cleveland children who would otherwise attend a failing school this year to select a better school for their child. We need your help in three ways:
          1. Please stand with the Mayor and other community leaders to show our broad support for Right School Right Now by attending the Press Conference & Kick-off Event at 10:00 next Tuesday, July 2, at John Hay High School.
          2. Commit to distributing flyers or displaying posters in your neighborhood/service area that will provide information parents need to make informed choices for their children (We've attached one version as an example). Flyers will be available at the kick-off event, but if you can't get there on short notice, we'll deliver them to you.
          3. Reach out to your colleagues by forwarding this request widely to every community leader in your network, so we can be sure no families are missed.

Thank you so much. We have the power in the next six weeks to change the trajectory of many children's education and their futures.
Please take action today.
