Next Wednesday is the next Internet of Things Liverpool meetup.

Simon Reid (@LCRMakingIt), the Sector Manager for Advanced Manufacturing for Liverpool LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership), will be along to tell us about what they are up to, and in particular about Sensor City, a University Enterprise Zone bid to bring the universities together with (new or existing) technology companies and manufacturing customers to develop the local expertise in sensor technologies.

After the talk there'll be chance for some discussion, so bring your thoughts on how we could better work together, the challenges you face in developing sensor solutions or taking them to market, etc.

Red Ninja are generously sponsoring the refreshments, so there'll be pizza and beer from 6:30pm, with the talk starting at 7(ish).
