Hi all,
If there is a meeting, is there someone who can take minutes?

It turns out I won't be going due to family stuff, and I am choosing to go and see my father in Weed, CA. I will pop by on Friday to drop off my Secret Santa gift.

Taking minutes is as easy or hard as the person makes it, really. No need for details. Just the gist of what was discussed, who was in attendance. We have a template that makes it super easy.

I would be happy to do it, but does it need to be a board member?

Thank you, Carolyn.

According to our new bylaws:
"The Secretary shall retain accurate minutes of all meetings of the club and Board, have charge of Board correspondence and other documentation for which a record is ordered by the Board, see that all notices are duly given in accordance with these Bylaws, and keep the club’s Board and membership lists up-to-date at all times. The Secretary is accountable for organizational and club records in the form and frequency prescribed in Article XI Sections 5 and 6 of these Bylaws and shall perform other duties as may be requested by the President or the Board.
*Tasks delegated to a designee must be board-approved in advance."

So now that I have a volunteer, I will double-check with the board and make sure everyone is cool with you taking the minutes for us.

Léo
