Specialty weekend in Longview June 13th

Hello All,

Hope everyone is ready for the specialty!  A few things that everyone needs to know 

1. The Annual meeting will be Saturday June 14th at 4-5pm.  This is after the herding specialty breed (3pm) and before the herding specialty groups (5:15pm).  

2 Our specialty will start at noon with sweepstakes, juniors, 4-6mn puppies and then breed.  Brood bitch, Stud Dog and Brace to follow breed..

3.  The potluck will be AFTER the herding specialty groups around 6pm.  This way the judges can join us and say a few words if they would like.

4.  Mary will be working on the Potluck.  We will need to know a rough head count for the chicken order.  She is in charge of making sure we don't have 27 desserts to go with our chicken.😉

5.  There will be a silent auction.  Most of the items will be cardigan motif items that are being donated to the club.  It will be set up on Saturday morning in the building and bids will close at 5:15 right before herding specialty groups start.  If you would like to bring something for the silent auction, just bring it with you.  

*******What do people think about purchasing a booster bath and then raffling it off?  This would be appealing to all not just cardigan folks.  This is just a thought as we have had inquiries about bathing facilities.  Could be something for the future. Approximate cost to purchase is around $250.  The hope would be to 'Make a little money' on it if possible.  Thoughts?

And the most important thing is.....BRING A CHAIR and lets have a great time!!
