Full disclosure- this unit is used, but working fine, I've had it running in my Jeep for quite a while. I used this with my Kenwood D710 both with and without the TT4. (the Kenwood has built in APRS functionality. If your radio does not, you can still use this with the TT4 as your TNC)
I do not have the original box and the map is not the latest version published, but I haven't run into any problems using the existing map.
Included are all the G6 components:
The AVMap Geosat 6 unit
The dash mount/power unit (which also powers the unit) 12v car charging plug, 110v charging cable to charge/run off household power, Connection cable to attach to the radio's GPS port.
Also included is a full Byonics TinyTrack 4 package.
This includes:
Byonics TinyTrak4 in case
Combination power/6 Pin mini-DIN cable (Byonics part M12P) for attaching to a radio's data port Cable + null modem extension for attaching to the AVMAP G6.
Some extra items are included these are NOT needed to connect the AVMAP to the TT4 or your radio, but I am including in case you want to use the TT4 separately on another install:
A Byonics GPS2 receiver.
A combination power/interface cable for using the TT4 with an HT or any radio that has separate headphone/mic jacks.
At full retail pricing, this would be over $600. ($499 for the AVMap, $100 for the TT4, plus all the extra cabling, the GPS puck, etc.)
I'm asking $300 for the whole setup. That's the AVMap G6 APRS and all included hardware, the Byonics TinyTrak 4 and all cables, plus the extra cabling and GPS puck for using the TT4 with other radios.
