Hi all,

Thank you again for inviting us to your meeting today to learn more about our A Hustle Worth Having, IAFC’s national campaign to help inspire the next generation of volunteer firefighters. At its core, this campaign is about showing that volunteer firefighting is a way to find purpose, build connection, serve your community and be part of a team that shows up when it matters.

As a follow-up, we wanted to share the presentation from today’s meeting (attached). You can watch several of our campaign videos on the IAFC YouTube page here. You can also access all the resources we shared at our website: https://hustleworthhaving.org/

We’d appreciate your help sharing all of this with departments, leaders and recruitment contacts in your area who may find it useful. The materials are meant to be easy to use and adaptable, whether departments need social content, recruitment messaging or new ways to build on the work they’re already doing locally.

We’d also love to connect with any departments that may be interested in earned media support or partnership opportunities, as well as any of their agency partners. If you know of departments with great volunteer stories, creative recruitment efforts or strong examples of local impact, we’d be happy to talk through ways we can help elevate their work as well.
