Important Event About "Crisis" At the Border

Dear Friends,

As some of you know, I went to the Border in January to volunteer with Al Otro Lado (The Other Side), an organization with offices in the U.S. and Tijuana doing life-saving work with refugees.  Nicole Ramos, a Temple Law Grad, will be in Philadelphia for a week of speaking engagements and a group of "Tijuana alumni" are hosting a fundraiser for her on  Friday, March 22nd from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco (433 Chestnut St.).  Nicole Ramos, Director of Al Otro Lado's Border Rights Project, will be speaking at the event about her experience at the border and the work Al Otro Lado is doing.  Appetizers and an assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided

This event is open to the public so please do share information about it with any family, colleagues and friends who might be interested.  The more the merrier!!! :)
