As you may be aware, the administration is considering setting the refugee cap at ZERO. Although this is just a rumor, the fact that there has not yet been a request for proposals for the R&P program has been worrisome.
We are fighting back, but we need your help--can you share the below with Mt. Airy USA and any other group you think should be informed?
1) We will be having a protest this Sunday, August 4th at 11am at Rittenhouse Square. Please join us if you can, and bring a friend. Even if you cannot make it, please share it far and wide.

2) We will be having a press conference Monday, August 5 at 1:30pm with Mayor Kenney and other elected officials. We will be sending out more information once we have the speakers and location.
3) If you are part of a group, consider hosting a phone banking drive in the months of August and September. Sign up your group here.
