I'm outlining the big areas with dates that I think they need to occur on to keep the process moving:

Venue Outreach and Selection: 2/21

Advertising: 2/24

• Channel Mapping
• What do we want this to look like?
• Creating a flyer etc.

Panel Speakers: 3/6

Advocacy Activities: 3/6

• Letter writing?
• "Thank You" Campaign?
• Social Media Strategy?

Are you asking what the event could look like?

What if this day was set up with someone giving an "opening address" of short presentation of the issues, what can be done, etc...then participants could visit tables where they could sign up for or learn more about a specific issue they'd like to address and work on.  Similar to a job or college fair?

I'd like to be involved with this committee.  I agree with Sally that it's important to have someone who can speak clearly and comfortably outlining / defining some of the very basic issues.  That person would ideally be comfortable with answering questions too. Actually, the "panel" of the 3 reps from the three resettlement agencies who spoke to us at last week's meeting were excellent.  I'm happy to help with whatever.  Thanks Sarajane.
