Did you know that Wells Fargo not only paid zero federal taxes last year, but got a $681 million refund, paid for with our tax dollars, all the while profiting from building prisons and foreclosing on our communities?

Corporations like Wells Fargo don’t have to pay their taxes like you or I. Instead they get bailed out and we foot the bill. In addition, they continue to profit over the financial collapse they helped create. Refusing to work with homeowners and choosing instead to foreclose and take their homes. What’s worse, Wells Fargo invests in private prisons and pours millions into legislation and candidates that criminalize immigrants in order to fill jail cells.

That’s why community members and We Are Oregon will be joining the Portland Central American Solidarity Committee (PCASC) and Enlace in recognizing the National Day of Action against Wells Fargo.

Join us for the action as we deliver a message to Wells Fargo and demand they pay their fair share and stop taking our homes and incarcerating our community!
