Last night, David and I created a website that is a social site modeled after OWS's nycga.net . Meanwhile, the new version of occupyportland.org is on its way but is still not up due to server glitches. Also - @occupyportland.org emails are still on their way, same server glitch problems.
Instructions:
-Go to the website.
-Create an account.
-Start a group. (you will become admin and can add others)
-Add your contact info followed by your mission statement. If your group needs a logo, contact opdxdesign...@gmail.com and request a logo.
-Tell everyone on your listserve to join.
Features:
-Facebook-like communication
-Google+-like circles feature
-Community Sourced Links page
-Everyone can create events
-Discussion forum within groups (now we can stop relying on discussion in the giant forum or long email thread discussions! Wheeeeee!)
-Inter-group Document Sharing
-Any Much More!!
