In response to several discussions with Dennis's intern (evidently
he's been tasked with monitoring the various DP groups), I've made
some changes to the group. First, I've made it possible for anyone to
join. I am no longer the gatekeeper.
Second, I've gone through a pruned the spam. What happens is that
member's email accounts get hacked and these annoying viagra ads get
sent to people in their address book.
As for group meetups: One of the problems is that we are all
geographically dispersed. One solution might be to consider having
smaller group meetups among those of you who live close together,
perhaps around one of Dennis's themes (Happiness, Ultimate Issues,
etc.,). For example, if you want to discuss/debate one of Dennis's
ultimate issues in, say Issaquah, post an announcement looking for
interest.
