Meeting Sunday May 24

A friend and I would take the ferry over for the meeting.  Are there at least a few people getting together for sure on
Sunday, May 24 at 4 p.m. at Starbucks at the Crossroads Mall?  Enjoyed the discussion last time, but it would
be great if we were in a small circle somehow and could hear everyone.  Will we be discussing evolution vs.
creation again as Prager has so many other good discussion topics we haven't discussed that might include everyone?

Couldn't do much earlier, perhaps 3 p.m.  Need to know if more than one person will be there before

In light of the quote, James shares with us below, I am just now getting around to listening to Dennis's interview with Ariana Huffington. I have to give Dennis major kudos for talking to this ... woman. Such obvious lunacy from that radical Left-wing nutroot is something I don't think I would have the patience to endure.

She starts talking saying how we have to deal with facts and then goes on a rant filled with not one fact. Not. One. To take just one example she said it is a "fact" that the media is giving the public too "rosy a picture" of what is happening in Iraq. What world does this woman live in?

I'm becoming more and more convinced that people like Ms. Huffington suffer from a mental disease.

What point is there in trying to find clarity over agreement with someone who might be best served with therapy, medication and possibly time in a secured mental health facility?

If you listen to the Dennis's podcast of the two hours (on podcast, without commercials, it is about an hour and ten minutes) that begin with the Huffington interview you can hear something very interesting. Following the interview Dennis gets noticeably angrier and  angrier as the 2nd hour wears on. Now you could say that he was simply expressing his passion over the topics during the 2nd hour. Passion over airline travel and charging $15 to check a bag? I know Dennis travels alot, but as he said this wouldn't affect him in the least.

No. It was a matter of Dennis, wanting to explode at Huffington's idiocy, but being such a gentleman and kind soul, he would never do such a thing. I think he was no longer able to control his anger and frustration that must have been coming up during the Huffington interview at the lies that woman was spewing. He was extremely controlled during that interview - looking for clarity over agreement. When it was done and she was gone, he no longer had to control himself, and out came his anger and frustration with a woman who so obviously lies and believes lies.

What lies does she tell? The simple fact that she stated, several times, that she rejects the labels Left and Right. If she rejects these labels then why, on God's earth, did she title her book "Right Is Wrong: How the Lunatic Fringe Hijacked America"?!?

This is a bright woman? She's insane. God help America if anyone she liked became POTUS.

As you can tell, she got under my skin as well.
