Tom's Run 2009

Just wanted to once again promote this event to anyone who might be interested in participating next year.  Tom's Run is a 200 mile relay run down the C&O Canal from Cumberland and back up the Capital Crescent trail into Bethesda (ends at the medical center).  Tentative dates this year are June 4-6.  It's a very informal kind of thing, but a lot of fun.   Teams vary in size from 20+ to one, and you can run as little or as much as you want to.

 

Anyhow, my team will be getting together again this year.  We're hoping to get a core group of people who can commit to the entire race...we'll probably rent a van and set up a tent overnight somewhere, although all of those details are TBD.  People are also welcome to join up as they can, as we'll probably need the extra sets of fresh legs.
