Dear colleagues,
The IAML Online Events Committee is currently seeking to recruit 2-3 new
members. IAML members are invited to submit expressions of interest to
serve a three-year term beginning in July 2025. The Committee's Terms of
Reference can be found here: https://www.iaml.info/online-events
Context for the Committee's work:
We are particularly seeking individuals who can bring diverse
perspectives and skills in one or more of the following areas: event
planning and communication, hosting and facilitating panel discussions,
and a strong passion for the Committee's mission. Their involvement will
be invaluable in shaping and promoting IAML's online events, ensuring
that we continue to serve and connect with the IAML membership between
our annual in-person congresses.
Charge:
In addition to participating in several Committee meetings throughout
the year, each member is expected to contribute a minimum of 15-20 hours
of work annually.
Nomination process:
Candidates must send a statement (maximum 500 words) outlining their
interest in, and relevant experience with, the Committee's work and
mandates. Expressions of interest will be reviewed by the Committee
members; appointment recommendations will be forwarded to the IAML
Board.
