Please let me know what model PC you have, and if it has Intel hardware, I will give you the instructions to install the SATA AHCI driver so you can change the BIOS settnig back to AHCI for optimal drive performance.

I am pretty sure it has Intel hardware in it. The chipset and video are Intel if I'm reading everything correct. I am attaching two files. One that shows the product and serial number and a second that has a missing driver still. It is a TI driver and from what I read it is for USB 3.0. I did a web search and thought I got the right driver. The actual driver from the TI site did install and shows up but this is still listed as unknown even after rebooting a few times.

The XR21V1410 is an enhanced 1-channel Universal Asynchronous Receiver and Transmitter (UART) with a USB interface. The USB interface is fully compliant to Full Speed USB 2.0 specification that supports 12 Mbps USB data transfer rate. The USB interface also supports USB suspend, resume and remote wakeup operations.

The XR21V1410 operates from an internal 48MHz clock therefore no external crystal/oscillator is required like previous generation UARTs. With the fractional baud rate generator, any baud rate can accurately be generated using the internal 48MHz clock.

The large 128-byte Tx FIFO and 384-byte RX FIFO of the XR21V1410 helps to optimize the overall data throughput for various applications. The Automatic Transceiver Direction control feature simplifies both the hardware and software for half-duplex RS-485 applications. The multidrop (9-bit) mode with automatic half-duplex transceiver control feature further simplifies typical multidrop RS-485 applications.

For some UARTs, Microsoft certified drivers are available for Windows Operating System and can be downloaded via Windows Update. These drivers and others, including for Linux and other Operating Systems can be found by visiting -tools/software-drivers Please note Software Driver Use Terms.

1. Native drivers: Native drivers may be found in all major OS such as Windows, Linux, and Max OSX. Typically these drivers will be automatically loaded. In some cases, these are basic drivers and may have limitations on advanced device functionality, however. USB HID, Hub and CDC-ACM drivers are examples of native drivers. The CDC-ACM driver be used with our CDC-ACM class USB UARTs, but has limited functionality.

2. MaxLinear custom drivers: MaxLinear custom drivers may be used to support additional functionality in MaxLinear devices. For example, the MaxLinear custom driver for USB UARTs overcomes the limitations of the native CDC-ACM driver. See -tools/software-drivers for a list of and access to the drivers that we currently have. In some cases, the MaxLinear driver can also be customized, or source code can be provided after executing a Software License Agreement.

All of MaxLinear / Exar's USB UARTs are CDC class / CDC-ACM compliant, except for XR21B1421 which is an HID class device. This means they can use a native CDC driver. All major OS have native CDC drivers, except Windows prior to Windows 10.

DriverGuide maintains an extensive archive of Windows drivers available for free download. We employ a team from around the world which adds hundreds of new drivers to our site every day. How to Install Drivers Once you download your new driver, then you need to install it. To install a driver in Windows, you will need to use a built-in utility called Device Manager. It allows you to see all of the devices recognized by your system, and the drivers associated with them.

Many device drivers are not updated through the Microsoft Windows Update service. If you are having trouble finding the right driver, stop searching and fix driver problems faster with the Automatic Driver Update Utility. Automatic updates could save you hours of time.

The Driver Update Utility automatically finds, downloads and installs the right driver for your hardware and operating system. It will Update all of your drivers in just a few clicks, and even backup your drivers before making any changes.

Many computer problems are caused by missing or outdated device drivers, especially in Windows 11. If your desktop or laptop is running slow, or keeps crashing or hanging, there is a good chance that updating your drivers will fix the problem.

I have installed Informix 14.10 on Redhat 8 Linux. The IP Address of the server is 192.168.183.129I am able to ping it from Windows successfullyThe hostname is localhost.localdomainThe DBSERVERNAME ol_informix1410The $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts is as follows:

when looking at the log I see that the esptool.py trys to connect using cu.usbserial-1410 but this is wrong and will never work. it should use the cu.wchusbserial1410. this can be overwriten by the ini file (which is the workaround so far)

Acer recently updated the Acer Aspire 1410 laptop to include a dual core Intel CULV processor and Windows 7 Home Premium. And for some reason, Acer knocked about $50 off the price at the same time, making this $400 laptop one of the cheapest computers you can find with an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display and a dual core processor.

I reviewed the original version of the Acer Aspire 1410 a few months ago, and the folks at B&H were kind enough to send me an updated model to review. The model featured in this review has a dual core 1.2GHz Intel Celeron SU2300 processor and integrated Intel GMA4500MHD graphics. It has 2GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and a 6 cell, 4400mAh battery.

This is where things really start to get interesting. The Acer Aspire 1410 with the SU3500 processor is significantly faster than a typical netbook when it comes to CPU-intensive tasks such as playing HD video, video games, or transcoding audio and video files.

On the other hand, the Asus UL30A received a Windows Experience Index score of 3.4 and had higher subscores than the Acer Aspire 1410 in almost every category. The Aspire 1410 got a 3.2, with the lowest scores concentrated in the graphics and gaming graphics areas.

One problem I had with the older version of the Acer Aspire 1410 was that the webcam seemed to have a milky/foggy quality. It turns out there was a tiny piece of plastic covering the camera that I missed. This time around I made sure to remove the plastic, and the webcam image quality improved significantly.

The main thing that sets the new version of the Acer Aspire 1410 apart from the previous model on the software front is the fact that it runs Windows 7 Home Premium instead of Windows Vista. This is a huge step up, since the laptop generally feels more responsive.

You also get new features like Aero Peek (which lets you look at the desktop by temporarily minimizing all windows for just a second without actually changing their position) and the new and mostly improved Windows taskbar.

I got my 1410-8913 a couple of months ago. I am having issues with speed when I try to play my music while using the internet and doing a few tasks at once. I am looking to get a faster processor. I have the Intel Core 2 solo SU3500 1.4GHz, 800MHz FSB. What is a good Dual processor that I can upgrade to?

I bought my 1410 last week as a replacement for a full size laptop. I found it at a wholesale club for $365. and rolled the dice. What a great machine. I use a tether to my Blackberry for internet and speed and surfing have been great. Hulu runs better than it did on the old full size.
I was leary about Windows 7 after unhappy experiences with Vista but it has been fine. The display seem more than adequate for viewing and the keyboard ergonomics are fine.
I want to up the memory to 4gigs abd see what it does for performance.

The 1410 and the 1810 have quite different hardware, for example the 1410 has only a 4400mah battery, the 1810tz has a 5600mah battery.
Also the cpu of the 1810tz is a su4100, the 1410 has only a su2300.

3 days ago I purchased an Acer One 14 L1410 laptop which comes with Realtek rtl8xxxu card, I have installed ubuntu. Everything is going fine but WiFi is not working well. I have searched everywhere but nothing solved my issue. My laptop have a function key for WiFi on and off. when I restart I have to first press Fn+F3 and again press fn+F3 then WiFi connects. But after suspend its again not showing any connection.i have updated my pc and now connection is permanentaly closed

I have exactly the same problem as this. I have replaced the drivers with r8168-dkms_8.044.02-2_all.deb after which at least the cable ethernet works properly, but the wi-fi deactivates at every shut-down and has to be physically turned off and on again before it will connect.
