Adding a new Tenji Japanese Braille table into NVDA

Hello everyone!
I would like to ask you a question about Braille tables in NVDA. The current Japanese Braille table is Kantenji. This means it dispays Hiragana and Katakana in Tenji but Kanji in Kantenji which I don't understand. This means when there are Kanji on the Internet or elsewhere they are displayed in Kantenji and this makes things extremely difficult to me as an active Braille user. That's why, I want to ask you if it's possible to programme and add a Tenji table into NVDA which also will convert Kanji into Tenji (just like in VoiceOver). If it is possible how can this be done?
You can write all your answers in Japanese. I can already understand much more, also Keigo.

I have never used braille in NVDA but I could find Japanese 6 dot computer braille as braille table. Have you tried it?

No, the only table I have in NVDA is Kantenji. Where can I add the computer Braille which actually is Tenji?

Hello Olya,

Is the NVDA you are using the Japanese version of NVDA?
The Japanese translation is special, so the Liblouis table is not used.
6 dot braille is only included in the Japanese version of NVDA.

Thanks for the clarification!
I have the German version of NVDA. But no problem, I will set it to Japanese. I'm capable of understanding the menus etc. of NVDA (there are so many English words).

Hello,

You can download Japanese localized version of NVDA from below URL. If you use Japanese localized version, Japanese 6 dot computer braille will be available. You can still choose any language (English, German, etc.) with this localized version of NVDA.

Dear Suzukisan (or better Suzuki sensei because you have much experience with NVDA and helped me)!
Thank you very much for this Japanese localised version! It has solved my problem and now, I can read kanji in tenji, it's transferred like it does in VoiceOver. This fact changes many things: now, I can read in Japanese on the Internet, read word, text or accessible PDF files on the PC... I'm so happy!
The only thing I would like to clarify now is how to write kanji on my computer. I've installed this IMEI pack for Windows but I can't do anything. When writing hiragana I use Yam6Ten (which you and Kojirosan helped me install some time ago). But when I write something with Yam6Ten I can't find any options for Kanji when IMEI is activated. It's not the same thing as in VoiceOver. When I write something in Tenji with VoiceOver I can choose from different Kanji options. But in NVDA in combination with IMEI is not the same thing. But maybe, there are some secret tips you can tell me?

Q1: 私はNVDAで点字を使用しておりますが、指定できる点字出力テーブルが「日本語　漢点字」となっております。そうしますと、点字ディスプレイに表示される点字が漢点字になり、私は漢点字を知らないため点字ディスプレイで点字を読むことができません。どうすればいいですか？
A1: NVDAの点字出力テーブルとしては日本語6点情報処理点字を選択できます。これを選択してみてはどうですか？
Q2: 私の環境では日本語6点情報処理点字を選択できません。どうすればいいですか？
A2: 日本語6点情報処理点字はNVDA日本語版でないと利用できません。NVDA日本語版をダウンロード、インストールしてお試しください。
Q3: NVDA日本語版をダウンロード、インストールしたところ、点字ディスプレイで漢点字でなく通常の6点日本語かな文字点字で読めるようになりました。ありがとうございます。読むのはこれで解決したのですが、書くときの漢字入力がわかりません。Yam6Tenで6点入力しているのですが、例えばiPhoneのVoiceOverのように漢字の変換候補を出してから選択して漢字を入力するのはどのようにやればいいのでしょうか？

First, set it to allow you to enter Japanese characters in Japanese IME.
Please read the site below.

If you set this, just like on iOS, you will be able to use Yamu 6 points
to enter kana in Braille input and select kanji with spaces.
