Kristi,

I am at home and do not have your email but I wanted to get the sad news to you to share with your children before they were in school.

It appears that we have lost Lordy B. There was no crowing this morning and I can not find him. His hen is still here but missing many feathers from her back. I assume he ran to defend her and took the brunt of the attack. The only other clue was one long black feather on our roadway.

I am glad that his descendants are safe and warm in Aden's classroom.

I am including two photos from our lunch last weekend. Lordy B was a very handsome guy!

I am so sorry this happened. We have been unable to keep him in his pen, he was so aggressive and strong.

Carolyn

I am proud that we are carrying on Lordy B's memory by hatching his
chicks in our classroom. He was a gorgeous rooster.
