Dear Devotees,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga.

We were very happy to see the ongoing planning for the Natkhat Gopal Mela project and we certainly wanted this to be a successful event. However, recently some of the builders in the area have been not willing to give a part of the land for holding this event and on the other hand, we have also received confirmation of many VVIPs for coming for the inauguration ceremony. Due to this recent development, our temple management is under a lot of pressure to meet the security protocols as given by the various security agencies. One of the protocol is to provide space for parking of VVIPs and security agencies. Therefore, we are wondering how to meet all these criterias and still hold the Natkhat mela, since that is the only space available in the immediate vicinity for parking of these vehicles. To solve this paradox, we discussed on the possibility for shifting it to a alternate location within 200 to 300 meters walking distance. However, we all felt that not many of the visitors will be interested in walking that much. At the same time, talking to people in the nearby vicinity to allow us to hold this mela is also a tough challenge given the limited time which we have for finishing the construction and the inauguration ceremony.

The Natkhat Gopal Mela is not cancelled but only postponed. We are sure that all of you will support this endeavor whenever it manifests in the near future just as you did this time.

Thanking you.

Your servant,
Radheshyam Das
