Happy New Year to you all.

What a nice invitation Maria and it would be lovely to come and see you all on 7th. I'm a littlle bit cautious about committing myself tho' as I seem to have several different things happening that day - I need to be careful with my energy and not rush around too much!

Would you mind if I let you know nearer the time? I won't be eating cake so it would just be tea for me anyway.

Dear Maria,

thank you for your kind offer. I would have loved to have come and meet everyone. At the moment I am busy caring for my Mum, but I am arranging care and hope to have more free time soon. I miss NVC.

I was hoping to come to have tea and share with you to-day. I was looking forward to catching up and seeing you, but as I said in last email, I have a lot on to-day and I'm afraid it just won't be possible.

I hope you have a nice meeting and hope to see you another time.
