First meeting / group setup

Hey everyone,

Below are the notes I took from the meeting tonight. Please feel free to add on or let me know and I can amend them.  Next meeting is scheduled for August 18 at 6pm

Also, I created a group so we can just send an email to this group. All you need to do is send an email nvalpha...@googlegroups.com and it will go to the group. i don't have Andrew or Bryce's email. If somebody can get that I can add them

Meeting 7/7/13

Attendees:

UG Currently has a committee but is hard keeping people involved.

Potentially delegate tasks to each member

Current:

• Chores 2x week
• Clean area during an informal meeting
  

Potentially:

• During Sigma / Phi / Epsilon meeting would clean an area

differentiate between day-to-day tasks and bigger projects

Tasks that needed to be done:

1. Contacting fire dept for fire extinguishers (done)
   1. ABC doing yearly inspection on them
2. Fire Drill
   1. before Meeting once a semester
3. Exit Signs (fixed)
4. Microwaves in rooms
   1. Putting a kitchenette upstairs
5. Emergency Contact numbers
   1. Put next to Map (2)
6. All exits are open
7. Electrical boxes need to be covered
8. Cleaning regularly
9. Discourage use of extension cords
10. Fire Pit use
1. Have to talk with board

Wish List:

1. Kitchen
   1. Only one dishwasher some what works
   2. Garbage disposal needs fixed
2. Bathrooms
   1. revamps
   2. 3 Urinals / Seats
3. Dining / living area (2)
   1. tables / chairs

Hi all,

I know it's a bit short notice, but can we entertain changing the date of the next meeting housing committee meeting, please? I would really like to be there to chair it, but I can't make 8/18 @ 6pm. I'd like to send out a doodle survey to get an idea of what everyone's availability is, and then set up a standing meeting each month. If no one is opposed, then I will send out the doodle survey and get the next meeting scheduled ASAP. Thanks!

Just a notice, we will not be having housing meeting tonight at 6.  Shenea will be setting us up with a regular meeting time each month after all of the responses to the doodle survey are in.  I hope everyone had a good weekend.
