Fellow Volunteers! **Please review the attached flyer**

On August 28th starting at 9am, the Washoe Pleasant Valleys Cooperative Weed Management Area, BLM, and Audubon Society-Important Bird Areas Program will be hosting a “Noxious Weed Identification and Mapping Volunteer Event” at Winters Ranch in Washoe Valley.

We will be learning how to identify noxious weeds, how to map and report your sightings, and how to manage the weeds before they impact sensitive habitats in Washoe Valley.  All volunteers will receive t-shirts, water bottles, and a free bbq lunch.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Cheers,

Robin Powell
