We’ll help our birds and other animals by cleaning up their home at the Swan Lake Nature Study Area/Important Bird Area. Meet at the Lemmon Valley McDonald’s parking lot off Hwy. 395 (Exit 74) north of Reno at 8:00 a.m. We’ll clean up, pull invasive weeds, and plant wetland plants along Horse Creek. If you have a pickup that we can use for hauling trash to the transfer station, please bring it. Also, bring waders and rubber boots for working in the water if you have them. Gloves will be essential for pulling thistle and handling trash. Bring plenty of water. It will be a great morning, come join the fun! For more information, contact Robin or David. |
