form ranger updating frequency

Hi.
is there a possibility to add another updating frequency? I mean not only hourly but for example every 30 and / or 15 minutes?

or perhaps updating not only on submit form but also on opening the form?

The answer is no and no.  

If you are making manual changes to the spreadsheet and want the form updated immediately, you can modify your form to include a question about admin / other.  The admin submits a form with no other data.  The other completes the form.

If you submit an admin form, that will trigger an immediate update.

That does not solve the my problem.

The data from the first form goes to the sheet, then the formula in the sheet adds indices to these data, and several other forms use the list of indexes.

Do you have an idea how to solve it differently?

I cannot think of a way to do what you want using FormRanger.  You have one form that when it changes you want to update questions in multiple forms.

As I suspect you discovered is that the first form will be updated because of the form submit.  The other forms will be updated because of the time trigger.

You should be able to create your own script to modify multiple forms when there is a change in one form.  See Script to update a form.

There are no guarantees.

the first form can be forgotten, there is nothing, what is updated, so i don't need / can't use submit trigger.

I use only the time trigger, because all (important for me) forms read only from a sheet a 'handmade' list of indexes.

Writing your own script is the only way to get the forms updated more frequently than once an hour if you are not using a form trigger on each form.

The script would allow you to click on an icon in the spreadsheet and have as many forms updated as you need.

It took me some time to learn enough to modify existing scripts.  Only you can decide if it is worth the effort.  You may be able to find someone to write the script for you.
