I downloaded google forms add-on form ranger, It is not working, could problem be a long list in google sheets?there are no duplicates

I think you can have up to 999 in a list.  The most frequent problem is duplicates.

You need a formula like:

=sort(unique(arrayformula(trim(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(B2:B," "," ")," "," ")," "," ")))),1,true)

See examples sheet Look at column C for finding and eliminating dup.

If you can't locate a duplicate share the spreadsheet with glua.joe @ gmail.com.
