Things to try:

Use an incognito window in Google Chrome.

Make sure you are signed onto only one account.

Try a different computer.

Try using personal account.  If that works, check with the Workspace administrator.

I experienced the same issues which persisted even with no other gmail accounts open and in a new incognito window. What did work was clicking on the add ons icon to expose the list of already added add ons, then right clicking on form ranger and choosing "inspect." I then closed the inspection window and then I was able to "start" form ranger. Not sure if opening the inspection window actually had anything to do with fixing the issue but might be worth a shot.
