Please help! How do we exceed the 1500 limit for a Formmule send?

I have reviewed this chain AND contacted google admin support for two lengthy support chats.  https://support.google.com/docs/thread/51080192?hl=en

And I contacted Andrew and Araf at New Visions directly by email.

Is there really no solution to this very constraining issue?

We are a small school of 700 students, so just 1-2 parents being cc'd on a formmule means we already exceed 1500, without even adding an advisor, counselor, a teacher etc.

I tried to set up SMTP routing to increase our daily send limit: https://support.google.com/a/answer/166852

But, admin support says SMTP has to work through an APP not an add-on.

See the FAQ.  I think 1500 is a Google limit per account.  You could use another account for part of the emails.

You can spit the file and send on separate days.

I'm not aware of any method to exceed the 1500 limit from an Add-on script.

Hi Joe,

Thanks so much.

We actually emailed about this before outside the forum and discussed how 1500 is the total combined limit for any number users within a domain in a single 24 hr window.

It is not by account.  Sending on separate days is unfortunately cumbersome and untimely when trying to send report cards to the whole school for example.

I ended up having to create 9 personal accounts outside of our domain in order to finish the send.

Is there really no one at New Visions who is able to work with Google on this?

Formmule is a wonderful tool!

1500 submission is the limit.  It will reset in 24 hours after the last email has been sent. Joe Schmidt is correct use different domain emails to send.

I use 3 to 4 different domain accounts (depending on how many emails I have to send) and split the emails.  I create a column called "Send Email?" and the answer is Yes, conditional formula is if the column says Yes then the email is sent.  I send the first 1500 emails from that account and then  share the Google Sheet to the other accounts as editor.  I login to the next account, mark Yes to the next 1500 and send, and repeat.  I haven't had any problems with method.

Yes, it is per domain though, not accounts within the same domain. When multiple user within our domain use formmule within the same 24 window period, any user sending seems to draw from the same 1500 pool.

As I described, I too used the multiple ("personal") accounts method.  But, outside of my school gsuite domain the personal account limit is only 100, not 1500.

Are you saying you have more than one gsuite domain and use an account in each, that each have 1500?

How did you get multiple gsuite domains?

Our GSuite Domain allows each email to send out 1500 emails (the emails I use anyway).  I don't know what sort of setting our network coordinator did within GSuite, but I've been sending emails like this for years with FormMule.

I understand your frustration.  

I don't have a gsuite account but make sure you are only signed on to one account when you try to send an additional 1500 emails.  Use an incognito window should work.

If it was per domain, then schools with lots of staff would reach the quota very quickly and Google would not be able to sell Gsuite to large companies.

Did the incognito setting work? Any tips that you recommend?

We are getting ready to send out back to school night schedules for a high school with over 1500 students, parents will be included on the email as well. So we potentially have as many as 4000 emails that will need to go out?
