Is the "reply-to" field the same as the "from:" field that recipients see?

Hello - I love this tool, and we use it to help us at our school of 700 kids. It frees up staff time to work with students.

We have a discipline spreadsheet, which I and our dean use to send follow-up emails to teachers once we've handled discipline issues. I have it set to pull from a column for the "reply-to" field - my intent was for the email to go out as if it were sent by her (my dean), or me (the principal).

Does the "reply-to" field then change who recipients see as the sender of the email?  If not, what does it change? Does it only come into play if the recipient replies to the email?

Thank you,

Mark

I believe the sender is always the one who sets the Time or Form trigger or runs manually.

I think you are correct that the reply to only comes into play when the recipient replies.

You could have two templates, one for you and one for each person sending the emails.  Have a filter to only send a template when the correct person is running FormMule.

Each of you will have to run FomrMule on some frequency.

Another option is to have a column that is set by a formula that contains text like, "on behalf of  ____".
