Taking a long time to send

I've got a form mule with 4 templates to create a work flow.  I'vs been working great for me, but then today it's stalling out.  

For example, template 1 had a send status at 11:50:03, template 3 send status 12:01:12, template 3 send status 12:15:36, template 4 send status 13:06:53.  

Example 2, template 1 - 12:15:37, template 2 - 12:46:49, template 3 - 12:48:58, template 4- 13:07:08.

For template 1-3, I completed them as a test all on my own, so I know there was not delay in the completion of those steps, I would fill in the edit url form as soon as it was received.  Template 4 was by a different person, so I cannot determine if there was a delay in those sending or not.    It was taking a really long time for each one to send, then all at once, from example 1 template 3 and example 2 template 1 both populated, then about 30 minutes later example 2 template 3 populated.  

I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this issue with delay?  Since this was new I thought the form quit working and I unlinked the sheet then had to redo all the formulas I had when I relinked it to a new sheet. Now I'm thinking the original was working the whole time, just on a big delay. 

Any ideas are welcome :)

Thank you for explaining your job set-up. 

I have a few questions to help me understand the details.

You mentioned the 'edit form URL'; do each of the templates have a send condition that depends on a value in the form being filled out and then re-submitted?

For example: 

Form is submitted- template 1 email pushed by Form Mule to an 'Editor'.

'Editor' uses 'Edit URL' to fill in additional information, template 2 is pushed out by Form Mule to 'Approver'.

'Approver' fills in additional information, template 3 is pushed out etc etc

Hope that makes sense.

Or does any of the information needed to trigger another email come from a direct edit to the spreadsheet? ( not the form)

Did these merges work at one time and recently start to fail.  You may have too many rows which is causing FormMule to run slow or not at all.  If a row isn't sent when submitted, I might send the next time FM is run by the Form Trigger.  If you have a Time Trigger, it will catch the rows that are missed.

I would try coping some of the rows to a backup sheet and remove them from the active sheet.
