Form trigger toggle greyed out

Why is the form trigger toggle greyed out? I set it up on a sheet I have, and tried to set it up on another and it's greyed out. The second sheet, the one where it's greyed out, I'm not the owner of but can edit it. Is that the reason? Thanks for the help.

What is the source of the data? If it is not a Google form, you will not be able to set a form trigger.
I have not seen your spreadsheet but that is what I would check. Sometimes, folks use a different form tool to collect data and expect Google to know that a new form was submitted.
