Captcha popup in formmule

Hello everyone,

We use formmule to send emails from a spreadsheet, and for some reason since today when we click on send, it is asking us to complete a captcha (attached image). This has never happened before, do you know if there was any change that caused this? Is there any way to fix it?

I just tested and I don't get it.  I'm not aware of any changes.

Google may have changed something and it is being rolled out.

Does it work if you complete the captcha?

When you complete the captcha for the 1st time, it will ask you for another captcha input indefinitely.

I couldn't find any specific, widespread announcement from Google about a new general problem where Google Add-ons are suddenly requiring a CAPTCHA.

However, CAPTCHA issues, including those that might appear within a Google Add-on's process, are often caused by:

  1. Network/Connection Issues: Using a VPN, proxy server, or being on a shared network that has been flagged for suspicious automated traffic can trigger CAPTCHAs, sometimes repeatedly.

  2. Browser Configuration: Outdated browsers, disabled JavaScript, or certain browser extensions/add-ons (especially privacy or ad-blockers) can interfere with how Google's reCAPTCHA works, leading to challenges being shown.

Thank you for your prompt response. It does not work when completing the captcha, as it updates with a new one when I enter it. When viewing the detail it shows the following information, alluding that the terms of service are being violated, but for our part absolutely nothing has changed so we do not understand why a violation would be detected now and not before.

It's doing the same for me. Captchas forever. No end in sight. Also an issue with Autocrat. Not sure what's happening but it's not good.

We suppose that the reason is indeed the following: “being on a shared network that has been flagged for suspicious automated traffic can trigger CAPTCHAs”, since when trying on personal devices with mobile internet the error stopped appearing. However effectively, the error occurs only with the add-on form mule, so I suspect that it is not a generalized error to all add-on. We would appreciate your help as we cannot depend on using personal networks.

We are also getting the same type of error ... This must be a widespread issue that some do not realize is widespread[read.

This seems to be spreading.. We are geting the samewhen we run another add-ons called DYNAMIC FIELDS and AUTOCRAT. Would this be a way for hackers to get into a system/network?

Newvisions took a quick look at the Google Issue Tracker, this captcha issue seems to be a new bug on the Google App Script side. All of the Cloudlab add-ons use Google App Script so I'm not surprised that so many folks are seeing it. The ticket looks to be assigned so hopefully Google can resolve quickly 🤞

Ignore my previous answer, while this worked 1 time, trying to send a 2nd email throws the same error with new networks / new devices. None of the options suggested by Gemini worked for us.
