I know that when I open up from the OPEN link of Form Mule it resets the system but sometimes that is the only way to open. Then it adds another column in the blacked out columns named : used for FM add-on. Can I delete the old columns or how do I prevent it from making new columns?
Also is there a way to open Form Mule to trigger sending when it does not give me the Preview and Send option under the Extension-> Form Mule drop down?

Hi,

If FM repeatedly recreates column without a label then there must be a cause.
Deleting columns without header label is fine.
As goes for columns directly related to a question on the form, unless the replies are part of the reply template as <<tags>>

In that case you have to alter the template before you remove the obsolete column with the question no longer relevant.

And yes, FM can be configured for use with a trigger to automatically submit replies. You have to set in the Google sheet properties to recalculate the sheet with an interval otherwise you have to wait until someone submits a new form

Ok thank you for your help!

Now I am having a problem with it just circulating when I try to open? I have used my normal troubleshooting like changing the time zone and using  Incognito mode  but can’t get it to open.

There are a few unfortunate problems with FormMule...
...the biggest one is the indefinite loop it can end up with.

Most of the times this is because it became trapped when looking up data how to do or what to merge exactly.
It's vital there are no duplicate column header labels.
Treacherous when you created a multipage form which uses a selection question and asking the same question on another formpage albeit in another context.
Twice the same question is a duplicate to which FM cannot make  distinction from which column  <<name>> for instance should be chosen.

The same goes for the use of special characters and diacritical symbols (õ, å, etc.) which 'confuses' FormMule lookups when mapping the <<tags>> for the merge.
