Links Not Clickable in Mail Merge

I have a template that adds a link to a text and image button - “Click here…”

This sequence appears twice in the merge with two different links. The first link is only showing as plain text. The second works. The code behind them is the same. 

The merge is sent via form trigger. When I run in again manually, both links work fine. The link is only plan text with the trigger.

Would appreciate any ideas/insights into this issue. Thank you.

I know very little about html but I did a search of the group and found multiple entries including this.  Searching the Group might find more answers.

Can you share the template information by changing the links to point to someplace safe?

I suspect others including me, would like to learn.
