Hello,

I recently started using Form Mule add on for Google Sheets in conjunction with a Google Form. So when i filled out a Google Form it would send an email directly to parents.

It worked great for the first times using it but within the last week when I've tried to use my Google Form, Form Mule will not send the email. I don't get any error message. When I open the add on to preview and send emails or check my template, I get to the loading screen and it doesn't go any further.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is a huge tool I use!

Hello,

First, please make sure you are only logged into one Google account or open up a Chrome Incognito window and open up Form Mule.
(this is important as having multiple google accounts open can confuse the permission settings for this job and cause errors)
Also, this spreadsheet should be on your Drive (not a team or shared drive)

On your spreadsheet, go to the Form Mule dropdown menu and select "Open", if you still get a spinning wheel, then close out the modal and go back to the drop-down menu and then select "Choose source data and set merge type", at this step make sure the correct tab of your spreadsheet is selected in the 'set merge tab' dropdown.

Then in the next step, "Set # of email template (s) and send conditions"; you will also want to check the names of the templates ( make sure they do not have the words template template repeated, etc)

If this is not your issue, please copy and paste your 'User Key' from the Form Mule menu on this thread, and next time you get the spinning wheel hold down the "Control+Shift+J" on a PC or "Command+Option+I" on a Mac and take a screenshot of everything you see written in red when the side window opens (Make sure when the side window opens it is on the 'Console' tab - from the menu running across the top). Hopefully, these two pieces of information will give us some clues as to what the issue is.
