Hi all,
I am soon leaving my company and need to transfer all the Form Mule message automations from my email to another Gmail address. Is there a way to easily transfer this? Would love to know if there is a way to do this without re-creating each FormMule from scratch from a new account.
Thanks!
Maggie

I don't know of an easier method than turning off the triggers while signed onto the account that created them and then turning on the triggers in the new account.  All you should have to change is the triggers.

You might want to consider creating a new Google account that is generic. I.E C...@company.com.  That way you would only have to change the password when positions change.

Hi Maggie,

As Joe pointed out, the answers is No, there is not an easy nor quick way to transfer sheets with active forms and using Add-ons like Form Mule from one account to the other.

Make screenshots of all the Form Mule settings, froms sources to templates to triggers, and paste them into a new sheettab labeld 'Form Mule Documentation'

Next step is to transfer the ownership of the spreadsheet to the new account...
...but this not allowed between personal and business or educational accounts...
...but if it's for the business then it's NOT recommended to use personal accounts (@Gmail.com) to avoid a lot of hassle next time new employees take over AND it does not look professional anyways using your personal account for professional mailings anyway.

So, if you have to move from personal to a business account there is no other way then to give the new employee editor access to both your sheet and form and then have them make their own copy of this sheet and of the form and the install FM themselves and configure it using your documentation in the aforementioned sheettab.

Quick link to the addon is http://workspace.google.com/u/0/marketplace/app/form_mule_email_merge_utility/968670674230

If you business considers to remain the use Form Mule in the longer future then it's recommended like Joe said to use a function...@business.yours and not 'Jacky', because that account might be deleted after resigning also but ser...@business.yours might live forever 😇

Sorry for the redo of work, but FM is by design restricted to the grants and permissions of the account it is sending mail of it's behalf and this setup cannot be transferred.

Cheers, Bart

Remember that Formmule creates a hidden sheet for each template.  In step two, make sure you name the template(s) the same and FM should pick up the existing template. This will save a lot of time as it should eliminate the need to rebuild each template.
