Trying to find out how to ensure control over the sender's email address.
Modifying an existing email merge which I did not create. Once this is completed, then emails sent out by FormMule show my email address as the sender, and not that associated with setting the "merge on form submit" trigger.
How can I ensure the sender's email address remains that of the Google account that set the send of form submission trigger? Or, is it possible to configure the name displayed as the sender: currently, the message recipient will see the sender as an email address, and not a name.
Any assistance you can provide on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that FormMule will use the email address of the account that was signed on when a trigger is set. If you run FormMule manually, it will always use your email address.

Thank you for the prompt reply,
If I understand correctly, then messages triggered by the form submissions should appear as sent from the account that configured the trigger, while messages sent by me (or anyone else) through the manual process (Preview & Send) would be sent by the email address of the person performing the manual send. Is this a correct summary?

The account which configured FormMule will be the address of the email sender...
...otherwise you would be generating spam...
...tweaking a username instead of just an email address must be done by merging the two in the recognizable format:
"Firstname Lastname" <email...@domain.tl>
be sure to test the quotes and smaller/greater signs and TRIM() all inputs beforehand to avoid unnecessary spaces which may inflict errors in emailsubmits.

I will wait for more form submissions (it is not a frequent occurrence) and confirm if the behavior I verify is consistent with what you have explained.
