New owner can't edit formMule

I am the new owner of the spreadsheet with formMule.
The account of the former owner no longer exists.
How do I transfer the owner to me to edit formMule?

Today I get the notification:
The "Merge on form submit" option has already been set, and can only be unset by <old owner>

Go to the form and select a new destination.  
Copy the template to the new destination.  
Set up FormMule without turning on the Time or Form triggers.  
Copy the status column of those already sent to the new spreadsheet.  
Turn on the triggers as desired.

How do you copy a template to the new destination? I must be missing something big here.

What he means is create a new folder in your Google Drive to host the template and receive the merged documents.

I still don't understand. I didn't know Form Mule had that kind of ability. I don't know how to make it create something to put in a folder.
I thought it could only send emails. Is there some kind of documentation I can look at?

Sorry, Kurt, I thought I was responding to an Autocrat question, not Form Mule. You are correct, Form Mule just sends emails, not merged documents.

That's quite alright. The reason that this post caught my attention is that it says to copy the template. So far I have been recreating all Form Mule incidents from scratch. Is there a way to copy Form Mule templates to a new Google Sheet?

Yes, as it turns out. If you go to View - Hidden Sheets you will see the template. You can copy it and paste it into a new sheet.

Hello,  we have a doc in a shared folder and the doc uses formule to send a variety of different emails based on circumstances.  I am leaving and want to confirm the other staff with access to this folder will be able to open and run the templates as needed?  We tested it and it looked ok but now they are saying the templates are not showing up.  Just trying to get my information together.  Appreciate your feedback.

Did you share or transfer ownership of the spreadsheet? I would try transferring ownership if you haven't yet.

In a shared file, I can't transfer ownership, I can only give them access.  I hate to move it, because everything is tied to it.

I think this is a user error, she is able to see the templates etc. just wasn't aware she had to click through to get to the edit portion.    Thank you for the quick response!
