Failing to Send

Hi folks

I have a number of FormMule jobs that work well, but a recently created new job fails with just a spinning wheel. I opened the console while it was running and saw errors (attached).

Any ideas? Is this something on my end or a coding issue?

Hi,

Thank you for supplying your user key. The errors I am seeing displayed under to key are connected to the spreadsheet timezone settings.
In your spreadsheet, go to file > spreadsheet settings > change time zone.
Change the time zone and then change back to what you need it to be set as. See if that resolves the error.

However, the errors that I see in the error console relating to a Network Connection Failure are usually temporary or may be solved by making sure your browser is updated, clearing cookies and the cache.

I would try both of these to see if we can get it up and running, also make sure you only have one Google account open at the time and/or open an incognito window and try and run form mule.

Ok, so I reset the timezone and it all worked!

Which is interesting because I have no idea how the timezone would have been different in this sheet versus any other sheet. 

The mysteries and vagaries of technology, I guess.

Thank you for this update, it is really helpful for others and myself to see what the fix is.

And I agree, I have no idea how or why the spreadsheet timezone settings get changed. A mystery indeed 🧐 haha

So, I am now seeing the same issue. Form is being completed and submitted to the Response Sheet, but no emails are being sent out. I can go in and preview and Save and Send messages, but no text is being updated in the Form Mule columns on the sheet. One of the actions includes the response edit URL for approval of leave, so this is kind of hampering our efforts to use this.

This issue popped up today for me too. I have changed the time zone and cleared cache & cookies. 

Sometimes I will get the option to Preview and Send (but not always). When I do this it sends all the requests using another email account as the sender. Specifically my personal email address, which is delegated, rather than the account that these forms were originally created with.

When I try to edit the template it just sits on a loading screen.

Hello there,    I tried changing the timezone,   refreshing the spreadsheet and the bug is not fixed.    Form Mule simply won't email replies at all...     please help..   this is a wonderful addon

We have been having trouble the last week where our emails are not sending as well.  If I manually push/run formmule the emails will send. I need them to work on the trigger though.  

 I checked the time zone and it is correct setting for us-  As of today though, our edit form url is missing!  Any suggestions??

The Google service interruptions this week seem to have disconnected trigger functionality so it might be necessary to reset the triggers.
First, make sure you are only logged into one Google account and open up Form Mule to the first step "Choose source data and set merge type", make sure the correct tab of your spreadsheet is selected in the 'set merge tab' dropdown (this is very important), then toggle the form/time triggers off >save> open Form Mule back up and turn them back on again. Run a test form submission to see if that gets it back up and running. Thanks!

Is there anything that can be done to create the URL's for the items that populated when the google service was interrupted?  I have a bunch that I need the form URL or have to go through an request users to resubmit.  This is a huge inconvienence.

You can open FM and immediately close.  When you open FM again, you should get the menu below where you can bulk load the missing Edit URLs.

There are other scripts out there.  I found this one but have not tested it yet.  Find edit URL  

Use it at your own risk.  I have not tested it.

Hi

I am trying to use Form mule for an approval function in which approver get the form edit URL but when I am building Email template in Build/Preview templates, it is not giving me the option to choose "Form Edit URL" in "Add merge tabs". The "Live Form URL" is available in merge tabs but not the Form Edit URL. 
I have already checked "Log the edit URL for each form submission".
Please look into this issue as I am facing this from past 1 month due to which I am unable to launch this Approval process in my organisation.
