Re-Assessing the same Assignment

I opted to create a single assignment for my art classroom this year. Students would have a portfolio slide show to create as the year went on. By the end of the year, there would be a portfolio that represented a year of art. My intention was to pull the slide into Doctopus after each new art project was uploaded by students into google slides. By using Doctopus and not the Google rubric in the assignment, I could re-assess the same assignment. This has worked until now. 

Why is it suddenly not ingesting all of the assignments? I do not want students to turn in their slide show as that is a hassle when they need up upload a new image.
