Doc not recognizing $group

Hi everyone!

No matter what I do, for some reason when docs are created for project teams, it isn't picking up their $group even when I put it in the box for how to label the document. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hello Debbie,

That is curious, Doctopus should automatically set the naming format for the document to be made by $group when you choose 'project groups' as the sharing arrangement.

So are all your student files being named Group A for example?

In step 5: File and notification settings, is Doctopus automatically naming the student files like the image below, are you modifying this at all?
