To use Goobric after attaching: Must I be the owner of the document?

I was able to attach a Goobric in classroom as a teacher, but I am not the owner.

The administrator of G Suite in my institution is the owner of the documents that were distributed to the students.

To be able to use Goobric I can change my status from viewer to editor, but even as editor I cannot use the attached Goobric through Doctopus.

Should I ask the administrator to transfer ownership to me as the teacher of the course in order to Goobric to Work?
