I still need Doctopus for these reasons!

I know that with multiple file location support ended Doctopus is becoming more and more fragmented, however there is NO BETTER WAY to distribute multiple files to large numbers of partnered groups and I NEED Doctopus to always be there for me!

I teach 320 students. I often pair them into 160 groups in multiple combinations. It is TOO DIFFICULT to make and distribute copies to 160 different groups in Google Classroom. It would take me hours to generate the files and then hours to tag out student pairs and individually send out assignments. So, I still use Doctopus and I use it weekly. 

Please keep supporting Doctopus even though not everyone needs it any more, because those of us who need it REALLY NEED IT!

I totally agree with you. Doctopus is a great tool, and we all miss the distribution of project files and Class Edit and Class View.
