Class Edit and Class View folders not showing up except

After trying to run things in Canvas and Google Classroom, I've realized that I need Doctopus again.

But when I created a new roster, my class edit and class view folders went into my last student on the roster's folder and nowhere else.

Is there a problem now with class edit and class view folders?

The same error as when adding a student to an already created sheet. Only the latter can see Class Edit and Class View.

Hello,

I think it is connected to how Google Drive has changed how files are being saved, to me this change in Drive seems to be a likely cause for this issue Doctopus is having with its folder structure.

I have reported this issue to the Doctopus developer and am waiting to hear back on their input.

In the meantime, I have not found a workaround but will post back to this forum with any updates I receive.

Yesterday, I found the two folders inside the student folder of the last student on my roster (last name starts with Z). When I put the folders back into the main folder, all students lost access to the Class Edit folder.

Hi ... I have tried the following temporary workarround, to be able to carry out an urgent collaborative activity in groups:

1. Locate Class Edit to the last student in the list.

2. Move Class Edit to the top folder of the class,

3. Add editing permissions to the entire class.

4. Create a link to Class Edit, and many copies of the link as students. (Rename copy)

5. Move each link to each student's folder.

For the students there is no difference, they still have a Class Edit where everyone can edit ... but I lost almost 20 minutes ...

But it is not a practical system. If the addon could do it for me, it would be fantastic!
