How do I change the order assignments are displayed for marking order purposes?

I would like to mark certain assignments by different orders, such as when they are last edited or by last name. I am running into problems when trying to order the assignments. I am able to create a filter in sheets to have them display in sheets in the order I would like to grade assignments, but then I click on the Goobric link and as I move on clicking "next", it does not flow to the next one in my spreadsheet. I am not sure how goobric/doctopus sets the order of the assignments, so I am at a loss as to how to fix the issue. 

For context, I am trying to only mark assignments that were handed in after a certain date, and all my assignements are video files. I can't see what I have previously marked while marking the assignments as I have since imported new material to be marked and have closed doctopus and re-opened due to marking on separate days.
